Show fattme4 Mrs. Ellen Bracken Primary Class Presents Program The Primary class of Mrs. Lawrence Brighton met at 'the home of Mrs. Brighton's mother, Mrs. Charles Bingham on Wednesday Wed-nesday after the close of school to make cookies. The same group held a program Sunday to demonstrate their class work and entertain their mothers. Stake Genealogical convention conven-tion was held Sunday afternoon with several from Ballard in attendance. Mrs. Herman Baumgaertel accompanied ac-companied her husband on his regular run last week. They went to Airmo, Idaho, for a load of wheat and took it to Los Angeles. There they visited Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Baumgaertel. Baumgaer-tel. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook went to Vernal, Sunday, Nov. 22 to attend the funeral services of Hal Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Beulter and family, of Dayton, ' Idaho, were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Lund-berg, Lund-berg, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn. Mrs. Beulter is a sister of Mrs. Lundberg and Mrs. Winn. School closed on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving holidays. Various parties were held in the class rooms at Alterra. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jenkins and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mitchell attended the funeral services for Vern Ham-aker Ham-aker at Bennett last Tuesday. Mrs. John A. Gardner is reported re-ported on the sick list and is confined to her bed at her home at present. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gardner and family, of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the John Gardner home during the Thanksgiving holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and family were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stanley on Thanksgiving. Mrs. Raymond Eldredge entertained en-tertained a group of young boys and girls at her home, Saturday afternoon in honor of her young daughter. Joan's seventh birthday. birth-day. A very fine time was had by all there. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd entertained en-tertained at a family dinner on Thanksgiving. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohlman and three children, of Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Max Todd, of Neola, Keith and Joanne. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Angus and two children, from Lyman, Wyoming, spent several days at the home of Mark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus. Mark is teaching school at Lyman this year. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Buchanan Buchan-an and two children were here with home folks over the weekend, week-end, from Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Todd were here from Logan over Saturday, Sat-urday, but were unable to be here for Thanksgiving. Other students from the U.S.A.C. were Larry Larsen, Arlin Bellon, Norman Angus. Lynn White, Gary Gardner, Glenda Gardner and Dianne Hullinger. Elton Kettle was called back to Vernal. Monday, Nov. 23 to act as a juryman on a special case. Misses DeAnn Asay and Carolyn Caro-lyn Ross rendered a vocal duet at the funeral of Vern Hamaker. They were Accompanied by Carolyn's father, "Tex" Ross, on, his guitar. Ralph Shields, of the Roosevelt Roose-velt stake high council, was a visitor and speaker at Ballard Sunday School. Mrs. Herman Baumgaertel entertained en-tertained the following at dinner din-ner on Thanksgiving: Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher and son, Ot-tis Ot-tis and Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Butcher, Mrs. Venita Heed and "three sons, Golden, Donald and Virgil. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Moly-neaux Moly-neaux and family, of Farsen, Wyoming, were visiting at. the home Of Mrs. Molyneux' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric A. Stolla, last week. Boyd Winn has employment at Vernal at present. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus entertained the following members mem-bers of their family on Thanksgiving: Thanks-giving: Mr. and Mrs. Mark Angus An-gus and family, of Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Timothy and family, of Roosevelt, and their children at home. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohlman Mohl-man and family, of Bountiful, spent several days last week visiting with friends and relatives. rela-tives. Mr. Mohlman is teaching school this winter at Bountiful. Mrs. Earl Gardner left on Sunday with her son, Gary, for Logan, where she plans on visiting vis-iting awhile. She took her baby with her.
