Word has been received that Max Hutcheon, son of Mrs. Ada Hutcheon, of Salt Lake City, is on his way home from Japan, where he has been stationed for several months. Her will receive his discharge from the Air Corps in January. Supt. of Schools Dean Chris-tensen Chris-tensen visited the Neola School Monday of last week. She returned to Provo, Saturday, where she is attending the B.Y.U. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando' Pace have completed their moving to Salt Lake City, making the final fin-al trip last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bastian and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Erding-ton Erding-ton attended a birthday dinner for Dick Bastian in Roosevelt, last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Larry, of Sparta, Wisconsin, spent several sever-al days here at the Neill Jensen Jen-sen home. Dick Peterson, Elroy Duncan and Aral Allred have gone to Northern New Mexico,' where they have employment. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen and family spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City with their daughter's family, the Jerry Harrisons. Mrs. Zora Gardner spent the weekend in Kamas visiting with relatives. Mr.' and Mrs. Jack Leavitt and daughters spent Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing Day in Orem, as guests of Mrs. Leavitt's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Shoell. NEW GRANDDAUGHTER The home of Mr. and Mrs. W. I H. Crozier was made happy with the arrival of a new granddaughter grand-daughter the day before Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Proud parents of the little Miss are Mr. and Mrs. Ellis El-lis Keel, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Keel has been visiting here with her parents for several weeks. Rawlin Spencer is greeting local friends here during his furlough from Fort Ord, Calif. He expects to be shipped to the1 Far East soon after his return to camp. Miss Dorothy Petergon, of Provo, spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Thurman Peterson. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis attended a Thanksgiving Thanks-giving family reunion at the home of Mrs. Davis' mother, Mrs. Addie Glines, of Union. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson, of Venice, Calif., left for their home last Thursday, after spending spend-ing the past two weeks here at the Bill Yack home. HENRY PETERSON DIES Word has been received of the death of Henry Peterson, a former Neola resident. Details of his death, where and when and funeral arrangements were not known at press time. The Relief Society room of the Neola ward chapel was the place of gathering for the John A. Olsen family on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiv-ing.
