Show Funeral Held The ward was greatly saddened sadden-ed to hear of the death of Mrs. Julia Blanchard, who passed away Friday, Nov. 27 in her home. Funeral services were held at the Mo'ntwel chapel, Monday, Nov. 29th at 1 o'clock. Dawn Pace, Fred Brown, Ar-vin Ar-vin Hullinger, Delmer Hamblin and Kay Hamblin spent the Thanksgiving holidays at home, returning to Logan, Sunday to continue their studies at the Utah State Agricultural College. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin R. Mower Mow-er received word, Saturday, that their son, Lynn, and his wife, Marie, of El Paso, Texas, are the proud parents of a 7 pound 2V2 ounce baby girl, born Nov. 25th. Miss Arlene Parry, who is employed at the Mountain States Book Binding Company in Salt Lake City, spent the Thanksgiving holidays at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown and family spent Thanksgiving Day in Roosevelt with the Rulon Andertons. Miss LaRene Adams, who is employed in Salt Lake City, spent the Thanksgiving holidays at home with her parents. Thanksgiving guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Art Brown and family were Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Adams, of Pleasant Plea-sant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Warren War-ren Cable, Earl Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Holmes, Ted Yenger, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Powell and family, of Vernal; Ver-nal; and Miss Karen Nelson, of Montwel. LaMar Wilson, of Salt ;'Ke City, was a visr of Miss 0r- Vnns Miller this week. Mt and . Mrs. James Powell attended the funeral services for Charley Allred, held in Al-tonah, Al-tonah, Friday. Mr and Mrs. Bill Blanchard and family spent the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays visiting Mr. and Mrs Bryan Roberts and family in Pleasant Grove, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard and family in Salt Lake City. I Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and family spent Thanksgiving Day in Altonah with Mrs. Mary Carroll. Mr. and Mrs. Levi J. Ander-ton, Ander-ton, of Duchesne, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown and family, fam-ily, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Less Kerr, of Roosevelt, visited friends and relatives in Montwel, Sunday. Mrs. Clea Crow is home, after af-ter spending a few days in the Roosevelt Hospital. |
