Show i Cloyd Ivie Gets Term In State Prison Cloyd Ivie has been sentenced senten-ced to an indefinite term of not less than five years, maybe life, in the Utah State Prison, for his confessed crime of robbing Lowell A. "Bill" Robb, of Utahn, July 20th. The sentence was pronounced by Wm. Stanley Dunford, one of the judges of the Fourth Judicial District Court. Although Al-though the trial in this case was set for hearing on Dec. 1, the defendant appeared before the court, represented by his attorney, attor-ney, R. Earl Dillman, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, at an earlier date, and entered en-tered a plea of guilty to the robbery charge. He was committed com-mitted to the state prison on Nov. 21st. |
