Show TEH DELL Doris P. Morrill (Received late for last week) A Special Show A special show, "Christmas Carol," by Dickens, was presented pre-sented at the Roosevelt Theatre Tuesday for all Relief Society ladies, to take the place of the literature lesson for the month of November. Those attending from here were: Fay Chandler, Lula Dudley, Dud-ley, Ada Pickup, Etta McMullin, Hannah Harris, Alice Wall, Donna Don-na Pickup, Marian Taylor, Nellie Nel-lie Harris, Elva McKee and Viola Vio-la Jensen and Louise Pickup. Mrs. Carol Lewis and family visited Tuesday afternoon at I the home of her sister, Mrs. Marian Shelton, of Roosevelt. The Avalon School children .were dismissed Wednesday as the electricity was off and there was no heat. Miss Beatrice Stringham, the school primary supervisor, visited vis-ited at the Avalon School Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Miss Stringham showed articles that she had brought back from Europe and related experiences she enjoyed while viisting in Europe. Those attending M.I.A. Leadership Lead-ership meeting in Roosevelt, Wednesday evening from here were: Mrs. Ethel Durfee, Mrs, Carol Lewis and Richard Durfee. Dur-fee. The school nurse, Helen Slivers, Sliv-ers, visited the Avalon School Thursday afternoon. The M.I.A. practiced their dance for the Gold and Green Ball floor show Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ray McKee and family spent the weekend visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr McKee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold McKee, of Maeser. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler Chand-ler and family, of Price, spent the weekend visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and family were Roosevelt visitors Saturday. |
