Show BRIB&ELAKD Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Holiday Visitors Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith were: jylr. and Mrs. Roe Smith and children, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and family, fam-ily, of Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Needham and family, of New York; Mr. and Mrs. Abe Smith and daughters, Linda and Kathy, of Park City; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Abplanalp, Jr., and son, Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Abplanalp, Sr., of Utahn; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young and children, of Mt. Emmons. While the relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Smith were together, they were happily surprised to receive re-ceive a telephone call from Far rell Abplanalp, of Seattle, Washington, a brother of Mrs. Smith, sending his Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing greetings to the members ofhis family. Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilson, Edna and Darwin spent the Thanksgiving holidays at Provo as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Johnson. Thanksgiving holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor were: Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins Raw-lins and children, of Craig, Colo. Howard Taylor, of Pocatello, Idaho and Mrs. Ronald Liddeli. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer, Sr and daughter, Wilma, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen, of Ioka. on Sunday. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Neilsen were: Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young and sons, Perry and Carl, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Lisonbee Lis-onbee and'baby, Kim, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, visited Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield entertained at a family dinner in their beautiful new home they have recently moved into. The guests enjoying the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day at the Stansfields were: Mr. and Mrs. Orson Neil-sen, Neil-sen, of Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fredricks. of Randolph; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Neilsen and children, of Myton; Mrs. Kenna Slater and son, Alec, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Neilsen, of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walters and children, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald were: Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Eskelson, of Neola; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Herman, of Vernal. Mona Dee Liddeli had her tonsils removed last week at the Roosevelt Hospital. Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shepherd were: Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald, Fitz-gerald, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lid-dell Lid-dell and Judy Halladay, of Duchesne. Du-chesne. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright and little daughters, Carolyn and Linda, were Saturday vis- itors of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. GIVES QUILT A beautiful friendship quilt was quilted for Mrs. Senor Mortensen, Mor-tensen, Jr. at the home of Mrs. Nelda Murphy last week. Those present were: Mrs. Frank Meyer, Mey-er, Mrs. Walter Meyer, Mrs. Frank Murphy and Mrs. Bill Gallyer. Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Mecham and children, of Vernal, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield Stans-field on Friday. They were accompanied ac-companied home by Donna Ann, Ralph and Lynda Stansfield, who visited in Vernal until Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald and Mr. and Mrs. James Giles, of Myton, visited relatives at Springville on Friday, also relatives rel-atives at Kamas. Little Miss Ann Young, of Mt. Emmons, visited a few days last week with her grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith. Mrs. Malcolm Walters, Mrs. Ronald Lisonbee and Carol Ann Brady attended Genealogy classes in Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. Mirl Jennings returned home Saturday from Riverside, Calif., where she had spent the past month with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Detmers. Mrs. Lois Stansfield and Mrs. Twilla Fredrick spent Saturday visiting relatives in Vernal. Mrs. Elva Lisonbee and baby, Mrs. Shirley Lisonbee and Mrs. Emma Lee Lisonbee and Bertie Lisonbee called on Mrs. Dar-leen Dar-leen Thomas of Duchesne on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gail were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson, at Roosevelt. Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal were: Mr. and Mrs. Keith Beal and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mecham, all of Salt Lake City. |
