Show 0. F. Anderson Missing;. The Pyramid is in receipt of information in-formation from Idaho this week relative re-lative to the mysterious disappearance disappear-ance of O. F. Anderson, formerly of this city, rumors of. which have been in circulation here for some time. About two months ago a letter was received here from the young man by his brother, Augusts. Anderson, An-derson, in which the writer stated he was sick and his recovery was doubtful. August Anderson immediately imme-diately started for Idaho with the intention of joining the sick man. He writes now that his brother had been Iiying alone through the winter win-ter and when last seen appeared to be in poor health. When August reached the cabin he found it deserted desert-ed and evidence? were numerous of the sickness of the occupant. It is surmised the sick man had left the cabin in search of help and that in his feverish condition he lost hiswayar.d either fell in the river and was drowned or wandered into the desert and perished from cold and exposure. The entire commun-i commun-i ity has spent several days searching I lor him and the river has been care- fully watched but no trace of the man has been found and hi s present whereabouts are a mystery. The general opinion is, however, that he met his fate in one of the two ways noted above. August Anderson writes that he will remain at Gooding, near where his brother lived, for some time in the hope of learning some particulars particu-lars of his disappearance. |
