Show ASKS FOR $25,000.00. i Mrs, Alice Anderson, widow of Mads Madsen, former foreman at Peacharosa, who was accidentally drowned at Peacharosa on March 9, 1910, has brought a damage suit against Swen 0. Nielson, for whom Madsen was working at the time of the tragedy, in the Seventh Judicial district court at Manti. She asks for judgment in the sum of $25,000.00. Time for hearing of the case has not yet been set. Former Judge Jacob Johnson, who has been Mr. Neilson's attorney for thirty years, arrived in Peacharosa Tuesday to confer with the latter and ascertain the facts relative to the matter. Neilson is reported to ha ve offered to make any kind of a reasonable settlement. The drowning of Madsen occurred while trying to ferry the river at flood water stage and at the time it was considered purely accidental by those who witnessed the 1 terrible tragedy. Robert Woodruff, the civil ci-vil engineer, Mr. Nielson and three other men were also on the boat, but could render no assistance when Madsen fell off, owing to the turbulence turbu-lence of the swollen current.
