Show LINDON LOCALS James LaMar Miller, who is in the Navy and stationed at Pensa-c Pensa-c jla, Fla., is home on leave. He l.-is been visiting his sister, Mrs. Charles Rodeback and her family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Erickson, daughters Karin and Kehaulani and Alaine Fowlke have returned from a vacation trip through the northwest and Canada. They visited vis-ited friends at Seattle. From An-acortes An-acortes they went by ferry to Victoria, B.C., to see the beautiful beauti-ful Butchart Gardens. At Vancouver Vancou-ver B.C., they embarked on the S.S. Princess Louise for Prince Rupert, B.C. They then drove to Prince George and home via the Grand Coulee Dam and other points of interest. Mr. and Mrs. C. Arthur Johnson John-son and four children, are touring tour-ing the United States. They have visited Yellowstone Park, the Black Hills, Minnesota, and when last heard from they were in Dryden, Ontario, where they are visiting John Johnson, a brother of Arthur's father. They expect to be gone from six to eight weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Walker and daughter Judy, their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Hensen Walker, have enjoyed a trip to the Northwest. At Puyallup, Washington they were joined by another son, Royce, who has been on a mission in that area for the past two years. Hensen and his wife have returned home while the others are visiting at St. Marie, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Walker spent four days in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. They flew down Wednesday morning and returned re-turned Saturday. Linda Larsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Larsen, and Pat Swenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Swenson, have enrolled en-rolled in the LDS Business College Col-lege in Salt Lake City. The girls are living at the school dormitory. |
