Show Bradford-& Sons Sell Alpine Villa Motel; Will Move to Texas Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Bradford and sons Dick and Bill, owners and operators of the Alpine Villa Motel for the past several years have sold the popular motor court effective July 1. However, they have retained ownersliip and will continue to operate their Shetland Pony Barns and their acreage in Pleasant Grove and Mapleton, The new owner of the Alpine Villa enterprise will be Elmer Bentsen of McAllen, Texas. Mr. Bentsen has extensive hotel and motel holdings throughout . the United States. Mr. Bi-adford said. Taking over the management of the motel on July 1, will be Mr. and Mrs. Archie Holcom, also of McAllen, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Bradford and son Bil and family are moving to Mission, Texas, where they will operate a 300 acre citins and vegetable farm in the Rio Grande Valley. Dick will continue to to operate the Shetland Barns and will move to Salt Lake City. He wil operate oper-ate the Barns and acreage from there. "We also expect to expand our Shetland Pony business both here and in Texas," Mr. Bradford said. He stated that the Shetland Pony show, scheduled for this coming August in Pleasant Grovo would go forward as planned. We expect to return frequently frequent-ly to Pleasant Grove, where we have enjoyed the association and friendship of so many fine people the Bradfords said. |
