Show Lindon Cub Scouts Met Saturday For Awards, Games Cub Scout Pack 3025, Lindon, met Saturday afternoon. Their theme was "The Olympics" and Ranch Brown -was in charge, col. ors being presented by Roger Blain, Ted Young, offering the opening prayer and Marvin Hold-away Hold-away being in charge of games. The games and first place winner win-ner were as follows: Baton, David Dav-id Packer; 30 yard dash, Robert Manley; discus, Craig Keetch; Hammer, Craig Brackenbury; sack, Bobby McEwan; one legged, leg-ged, Dennis Holdaway and Wer ren Blain; shot put, LaMar Me-cham; Me-cham; broad jump, Bobby McEwan; Mc-Ewan; javelin, Robin Wall. In the mother's races the heel and toe was won by Mrs. Annie Smith (the biggest amile) by Mrs. Iva Wall. Pins were presented by Oeirald Goss to the following fathers -and mothers: two year pins to Jarma Pollman, Gerald Goss, Donald Pollman, Ranch Brown, Mack Ostergaard, Keith Wilkinson, Wilkin-son, Kenneth Maley, Virginia Young, Betty Brown and Elodia Goss. One year pins went to Ted Young, Thelma Wilkinson and Theone Blain. Boys who received two year pins were Terry Moore, Robert Manley, LaMar Mecham, Eric Goss, Lyman Young, Kenneth Packer, Roger Blain, AJlen Keetch, Gordon Gillman, Randy HooLey, Robin Wall and Curtis 'Smith. One year pins went to Steven Aston, Ruland and Roland Hooley, Donald S. Pollman, Thad Adams, Joel Adams and Craig Keetch. Danny McBride received his Wolf Badge and a gold and two silver arrows under Wolf; Lyman Young, one gold arrow under Bear; Thad Adams, a Wolf badge; Lloyd Johnson, a Wolf, one gold and two silver arrows under Wolf. Dee Tomlinson was welcomed as a Bobcat. Robin Wall, Randy Hooley and Robert Montgomery received their Web-elo Web-elo badges and were graduated as Tenderfoot Scouts. The closing prayer was given by Mrs. RaNae Edwards. |
