Show Hornets Ahead in Pioneer Little League Baseball After two weeks of play in the newly-formed Pioneer Little League, the Hornets led the league with the only unblemished unblemish-ed record. The Bees resided in second place with a 2 and 1 record. rec-ord. The Hornets showed real power pow-er at the plate in downing Lindon Lin-don 18 to 12 as Harper led the attack with a home run. The Bees also defeated the luckless Lindon team 15 to 6 in a free-hitting game. In the other game of the week, Manila upset the Wasps 10 to 6. Holman pitched the entire en-tire game for Manila while four pitchers were used by the Wasps in a vain effort to hold the Manila Man-ila batters In check.
