Show Freezing Weather Prelude to Hot Spell in PI. Grove Summer came to the Pleasant GroVe area on the morning of June 21 with freezing temperatures tempera-tures in several areas in Central and Northern Utah. Locally damage dam-age to crops was light although corn, beans and potatoes were heavily hit in areas west of American Fork. Damage in northern Utah in some areas was extensive, especially espec-ially to peas, corn, tomatoes and beans. In cases paas have been cut for hay and corn fields replanted. re-planted.
