Show Homemakers Elect State Officers At Convention Mrs. Bernell Anderson, Spanish Span-ish Fork, Saturday was named state president of the Utah Young- Homemakers Assn. at the organization's third annual convention at the Newhouse Hotel. Other officers elected at the close of the two-day session were Mrs. J. H. Hai-vey, Pleasant Grove, vice president; Mrs. Blair Beckstrom, Spanish Fork, secretary; secre-tary; Mrs. Darvel Gam, Fielding, Box Elder County, parliamentarian, parliamentar-ian, and Mrs. Max Radmall, PI. Grove, reporter. Included In the day's events were special reports by chapter presidents from Bear Rixer, Box Elder, Davis, Spanish Fork, Tim-panogos Tim-panogos and Weber chapters. Winifred Hazen, stats director, conducted a discussion following a film entitled "Parents Are People, Too." The concluding luncheon was highlighted by a talk on "The Family's Role in Mental Health" by Mrs. Imogene King. |
