Show Lorraine Carlton Marries Dean Sweat Last Friday The Church of Christ in Crem was the setting Friday evening for the wedding of Miss Lorraine Carlton, and Lee Dean Sweat. Don NeiLson, a minister of thet gospel, gos-pel, performed the very impressive impress-ive ceremony, which was witnessed witness-ed by family members. Dc-an is thta son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sweat and his lovely love-ly bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Branin, greeted guests at the reception following follow-ing their marriags in front of a flower-bedecked fireplace in the reception room of the church. The reception was hosted by the parents par-ents of the bride. For her marriage the bride chose a ballerina length gown of baby blue brocaded taffeta with princess styled waistline, sweetheart sweet-heart neckline, a rhinestone tiara held her shoulder length veil of sheer illusion. She carried a Valentine Val-entine heart-shaped bouquet of pink roses and stophanotis. Miss Sylvia Park, maid of honor hon-or and Rosa Lee Powell, bridesmaid, brides-maid, both wore sheathe dresses of yellow and carried nosegays of Hawaiian maid, lily type flowers and white lace ribbons. Lovely little Judy Branin, a sister of the bride and petite Miss Sherl Dean Carlson, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Judy wore a frock of blue and white, while Sherl Doan chose yellow nylon. Both can-led nosegays nose-gays to ' match those of the bridesmaids. Mrs. Branin wore a blue street .length apron, while Mrs. Sweat chose a two-piece dress of pink linen. Both wore corsages of roses ros-es and carnations. Keith Warburton performed the duties of best man. Caring for the guest book was Mrs. Shanda Bowers. Mrs. Patsy Throckmorton, a cousin of the bride, oared for the gifts. Mrs. Carol Branin, the brides aunt, presided over the serving and was assisted by Miss Linda Branin, the brides sister and Joyceand Steven Frandsen, niece and nephew of the groom. The newlyweds are making their home in Orem. |
