Show Bless the Ground Hog; Winter Returns to Utah True to the predictions of Mr. Ground Hog, winter returned to the Pleasant Grove area last Sunday Sun-day with a welcome vengeance. The snow was relatively deep, and would have been deeper, had it not been so wet. According to Calvin Walter, the official depth at storm's end Sunday evening was 8 inches; which is the most delivered by any one storm since 1957. The water content of the snow was high. "When accumulation of the Sunday and Monday storms was meilted, it registered 0.75 of an inch. The storm was quite general throughout Utah, with varying degrees of water content and depth. From all reports the snow fall on the eastern watersheds was heavy. It was snowing again Tuesday morning, when this report was written. Forecasters say the snow showers could continue for several sever-al days, betfore we may expect any marked change. Temperatures Tempera-tures will remain below normal.
