This is a commendable attitude on the part of the . Department. However, the record should be set straight. The organized sportsmen sports-men did not recommend the ball type deer tag! The Utah Wildlife Federation in its anual convention unanimously recommended the "Surelock" seal, which was a flat type seal, more convenient to carry nnrl which could not be "accident- ly" triggered before use Furthermore, the change in the visible license form, requiring annual an-nual issue was not in conformance confor-mance with the recommendations of the organized sportsmen. The new form cost more than $36 per thousand, whereas quotations on the system supported by the Utah Wildlife Federation was only slightly more than $16. per thousand. thous-and. And furthermore, any royalties roy-alties being derived from the new-form new-form goes to private individuals, whereas the organized sportsmen received all such benefits with the Stamp Renewal Visible License System.
