Show Lindon Lions Make Payment Of $1000 On Lindon Park A film on the making of steel and its manufacured products was shown to the Lindon Lions Club Monday evening by Roger Honey-man. Honey-man. Harold Har-old Keetch was appointed to present pre-sent another thousand dollars to Stanley Keetch on the purchase of the Lindon Park. The club extends a vote of thanks to all citizens who helped raise this payment eights months early by contributing funds on the car sponsored by the Lindon Lions. "With this willing support it certainly will not be long before the full buying price can be met and the park officially deeded to Lindon City," reports Max Harper. Har-per. In the meantime all citizens are invited to enjoy the park as it belongs to each and everyone of you. The club will continue sponsoring spon-soring raid raising funds for these payments. As an added fund raising rais-ing project the members voted to purchase five hundred Redi Maps and distribute them to the people willing to contribute on this worth while project. These maps are very handy. They fit easily in the glove compartment of the family car and show all routes throughout through-out the United States. Handy driving hints and a full page for Itraveing records are included in each book. Ivan Blain in reporting for the Park Planning' committee savs a full report will be given at the next meeting. The playground equipment is nearing completion and will be ready for the members to install soon, was the report of Howard Jensen and Lee Swenson.
