Show ! First Aid Classes To Begin Tonight At P.G. City Hall First Aid classes, sponsored by the Civil Defense, in connection with the Health Council will begin be-gin this week. Classes will be held in the Council Room at the City Hall, at 7:30 p.m. with H. E. Bradley as instructor. This is not exclusively a class in war time or major disaster, but will feature affairs of every day life accidents or sudden illness in the home, on the highway, etc. It is a known fact that many a life might have been saved; many a fire prevented, or many an injury in-jury helped, had we known what to do first. Mr. Bradley is well qualified to instruct these courses, which will run for seven weeks. It is of vital interest In times like these, that we equip ourselves will all possible knowledge of first aid. Anyone interested (which should be all of us) will contact Mrs. H. S. Walker, Mrs. Gordon Atkinson. Mrs. Raymond Bastian or Mrs. Martin Peterson. Please remember, Friday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 at the city jiall. Ward Civil Defense Chairmen are making a canvas of the town, to acquaint the people with the objective of the classes-and obtain ob-tain registrations. |
