Show Farmers Pay Millions Yearly to 'Robbers' Farmers not only pay their share of taxes but also shell out millions of dollars each year in tribute money to three "robbers" livestock diseases, parasites, and carelessness, the American Veterinary Veter-inary Medical association claims. A recent report from that organization organ-ization said that annual losses from Just two dairy diseases, brucellosis and mastitis, run close to 200 million mil-lion dollars a year, not to mention losses from the host of other livestock live-stock diseases.
