Show Carol Jaynes To Head Cadmus Club For 1953 Election of new officers for the coming year was the business of the.Cadmus Club meeting Monday, March 9, at the home of Effie Adams. Carol Jaynes was elected president; presi-dent; Laura Cromar vice president; presi-dent; Cumorah Cullimore, recording record-ing secretary; Afton Miller, corresponding cor-responding secretary; Effie Adams treasurer; Dorice Rogers, chairman chair-man of the education committee, with Ida Brimhall and Lurena Warnick to serve with her on that committee. President Rose Radmall presided presi-ded and conducted the meeting. Daisy Nielson served as parliamentarian parlia-mentarian with Beulah Bradley and Laura Cromar asisting in the 'balloting. The Cadmus Club is especially proud of the accomplishments of one of our members, Sytha Johnson, John-son, who has been appointed to the Utah County Planning Commiss-' ion. This is a distinct honor for Sytha. She has been a diligent worker in several welfare projects, especially the Utah County Youth Home, being built at present and nearing completion. Club members and friends extend to Sythae best , wishes and support in her new work. Light refreshments were served by the hostess. The next meeting will be held Monday, March 36 at the home of Lucille Hillman. Members -were asked to please remember the change of date and place for the next meeting. 1 |
