Vest claimed Marcia Wadley as his bride in a ceremony cere-mony performed in the Salt Lake Temple March 5, by Elder Clifford Clif-ford E, Young, assistant to the Twelve. Witnessing the ceremony cere-mony were Mrs. Harry Wadley Pleasant Grove; Mrs. E. Kay Vest, American Fork, mothers of the couple; Mrs. Ther.ald Beck-strand, Beck-strand, a cousin of the bride; Mrs. Reuben Spencer and William Wil-liam Green, a mlssinary companion comp-anion of the groom. On leaving the temple the group went to the Doll House where Mr. Wadley and Mr. Vest joined them for a wedding breakfast, parents of the groom being hosts. That evening the couple was further feted with a reception in the Pleasant Grove First Ward recreation hall with parents of the bride as hosts.. Silhouettes were combined with stars and cut flowers to form the hall decor. de-cor. The bride greeted' guests in Chantilly lace over nylon taffeta, entrain. The fitted bodice was trimmed with sequins and seed pearls. The same trimming was repeated on the Juliet cap which held in place her veil of illusion. A 6ingle orchid surrounded with a shower of feathered carnations made up the bridal bouquet. Mrs- Therald Beckstrand attended at-tended the bride as matron of honor, and other attendants were Mrs. Harold Behling, Mar ilyn Barratt, Dorothy Vest, and Arlene Jorgenson. They carried bouquets of carnations and pink roses. - , . " William Green performed the duties of best man. ;Both mothers wore light blue with carnation and pink rose corsages. Bishop- Ferrill' - M. Sorenson was master of ceremonies and those who contributed to the entertainment en-tertainment were Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Strong, Dorothy Vest, Carolyn Nicholes, ReNae Johnson, John-son, and Mrs. Bernard Prows. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hardman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hatch greeted the guests and Louise Christensen had charge of the guest book. Mrs. Richard Whitehead White-head and Mrs. Eill Hoglund had charge of the gift display, and assisting to serve were Kay Nagel Sonia Herring, LaRue Dodge, Nancy Walker, Lois Fugal, and Dariene Reese. Dancing completed com-pleted the evening. Following a short wedding trip to Las Vagas and Hoover Dam the couple will make a home in American Fork. Former Miss Wadley is a graduate grad-uate of the Pleasant Grove High School and Seminary, and has attended Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. At present she is employed em-ployed at Geneva Steel. Mr, Vest graduated from' the American Fork High School where he was active in FFA work, before filling fill-ing a mission f or the LDS church in the North Central States. |
