Show Special Programs Prepared By Relief Societies For Anniversary Relief Societies in Timpanogos Stake are preparing special programs pro-grams for their Mai;ch W, anniversary anni-versary parties. Grove Ward will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a fine program to be followed by refreshments. All Relief Re-lief Society members and friends are invited. The Second Ward will especially honor past presidents, and are arranging ar-ranging a timely program, to begin be-gin with a luncheon at 2 p.m. All past Relief Society workers are especially invited, as are all Re-i Re-i ' lief Society ladies and friends of the ward. Lindon ward will begin their anniversary an-niversary party at 2 p.m. A spec- ial feature will be honoring the i visiting teachers. The program is . being arranged by Edith Walker i and Vera Hutchings. Lunch will be . directed by Marion Ash and Doris : Johnson. All Relief Society mem-i mem-i bers and friends are invited. ! The First ward will hold their anniversary party on Wednesday, March 18, at 2 p.m. A timely pro gram is being prepared. Music is being arranged by Mabel Green and Ardeth Lewes. All ward ladies are invited. Third Ward is arranging their program around a St. Patrick's Day theme. Following a brief historical sketch of the Relief Society, given giv-en by Mrs. Bemiece Monson, the program with Mrs. Dora Young committee chairman, will feature an old time Irish rag bee, with entertaining numbers interspersed. Norma Workman will sing When Irish Eyes Are Smiling; Delilah Fugal will givevan Irish Immigrant's Immi-grant's Experiences; Norma Bron-son Bron-son will give a reading and the rag-sewers will sing Wearing of the Green. Later lunch will be served. The c'.iss leaders in Manila ward Relief Society have assumed the responsibility of the anniversary program. A special feature will be guest day each member to bring a guest. Following the program, luncheon will be enjoyed. |
