Show Choir Pledges Donation To Building Fund The Timpanogos Stake Choir, with Ford M. Paulson as director, pledged a donation of $1,000 to President Merrill N. Warnick on Wednesday evening at the regular choir rehearsal. The money will be used to aid in the purchase of a new organ and piano for the Stake Grove Ward chapel. The group voted to raise the $1000 by sponsoring musical concerts con-certs and so on Monday, March 23rd at 8:15 p.m. in the new Grove ward-Stake house the choir will sponsor the Orpheus Club, male chorus of Salt Lake City, an outstanding group -of voices, direc-ed direc-ed by Albert J. Southwick. Mr. Southwick has been the assistant director of the Tabernacle choir. In connection with the concert, members of the choir will hold a cake and candy sale. It is hoped that our stake members will respond re-spond generously when asked to donate one of these articles. Committee chairmen were chosen cho-sen Wednesday evening as follows: Ford M. Paulson, general chairman; chair-man; Bob Hilton, tickets; Rose B. Pulley, cakes; Maybelle W. Jense, candy; Afton D. Atkinson, advertising; adver-tising; Ann West and Hal Hay-I Hay-I cock, concert arrangements. |
