Show Don't forget your fishing license Nothing can ruin a well meaning fisherman's day more than having an officer seize his fishing gear and leave him with a costly citation. People should take the time to make sure they have a 1986 fishing license before leaving home. Record high arrest rates so far this year have resulted in some concerns by conservation officers of the Division of Wildlife Resources. Fishermen are taking advantage of winter and spring fishing opportunities op-portunities in ienreasing numbers, and that's the way it should be. But, for a ' number of reasons some sportsmen choose to take a chan ce or simply forget that before they fish in 1986, they need to pick up a new fishing license. The consequences can be somewhat severe. The public is taking a very expensive chance. An average trip to the judge for fishing without a license can cost an individual in-dividual $50 or more, plus the inconvenience, in-convenience, seizure and possible court confiscation of fishing equipment.' A 1986 fishing license is very important. Nobody should leave home without it. Have it with you while fishing. |
