Show Marvin E. Harris Vivian Lee Barker Q obituaries Wilson J. Heiselt Marvin Edward Harris, 73, of Orem, died Monday, Aug. 11, 1986 at the Eva Dawn Care Center in Salt Lake City. He was born Oct. 23, 1912 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Edward Alfred and Mary Charlotte Backus Harris. He married Lillian Carter April 24, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 19, 1980. He attended schools in Orem. He worked as a farmer and he also worked at Deseret Industries in Provo and Murray. He was a High Priest in the Orem 6th Ward. Survivors include one son, Fred i, Harris, Salt Lafc w grandchild children. She was born Sept. 21, 1916 in American Fork, the daughter of Edward and Lucy Aletta Stoddart Lee. She married Eugene W. Barker June 24, 1936 in the Sail Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, American Fork 24th Ward. She had been an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple. She had been active in all the auxiliaries of the church. Hospital Pink Ladies. Survivors include her husband of American Fork; two daughters: Mrs. Paul E. (Luann) Mathis, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Paul W. Heiselt, 70, of Lehi, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Aug. 13, 1986 in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born March 21, 1916 in Lehi to Wallace Earl and Nadine Wilson Heiselt. He married Francis Nielson and they were later divorced. He married Alene Mecham Nov. 21, 1953 . in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a heavy duty mechanic. He was a member of the LDS Church where he served as a temple worker, was a High Priest and at the time of his death was a counselor in the Sunday School presidency in the Lehi 2nd Ward. He is survived by his wife off Lehi; six sons and two daughters: Leonard Heiselt, Forest Lake, Calif.; Gary Heiselt, Elko, Nev.; Bishop Richard Ed-dington Ed-dington officiating. Prelude and postlude were performed by Russell Daly. Michael Duke gave the family prayer. The invocation was offered by Jack Gray. Speakers included Bishop Eddinglon; Roland Morford, who gave a biographical sketch; Wayne Powell; and Kevin Rarick. Musical numbers were performed by Annette Harris, who sand "Through the Years," and "You'll Never Walk Alone." The benediction was by Bishop Bruce Webb. Pallbearers included Leonard Heiselt, Gary Heiselt, Eugene Heiselt, Jay Heiselt, William Gough and Danny Heiselt. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Duke and Kenneth Robinson. The grave was dedicated by Roland Morford and interment was at the Lehi City Cemetery. Claron Leon Golding, age 63, of Lehi, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1986 in a Pleasant Grove care center after a long heart illness. He was born Aug. 15, 1923 in Sunnyside, Utah to Seamon A. and Myrtle Edwards Golding. He married Elma Gerber Sept. 22, 1942 in Price. He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked in the coal mines in Carbon County, and was later employed as a machine operator in the construction con-struction industry and was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 3 for 30 years. He served in World War II in the Navy 1943-1946. She was born Aug. 4, 1917 in South Jordan, a daughter of Alfred Ray and Sarah Webb Beckstead. She married Elgen L. Lee Aug. 14, 1934 in South Jordan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. She was a member of and served as a counselor in the Relief Society of the American Fork 6th Ward and was active in all auxiliaries. She was a past president of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, member of the Postal Works and American Fork Sportsman's auxiliaries. She is survived by four daughters and three sons: Mrs. Stephen (Brenda) Billings, Highland; Mrs. Bruce (Peggy) Tidwell, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Howard (Lela) Wobig, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. Michael (Pat) Hill and Rex A., both Las Vegas; Jerry A., West Valley; Ralph E., Salt Lake; 34 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three borthers, three sisters and three step-brothers. She was born March 11, 1899 in Lehi to George P. and Cynthia Duel Jacobs. She married Jesse Jerome Barnes Oct. 6, 1919 in Lehi. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a housewife and member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her husband of Lehi; three sons and two daughters: Van A. Barnes, Pleasant Grove; Don F. Barnes, Milo R. Barnes, Verla B. DeMine and Mrs. Merrill (Meirl) Busk, all of Lehi; eight grandchildren, 18 great fered the invocation. Speakers included Bishop Chamberlain ; Ruby Rasmussen, who gave the biographical sketch; and Pres. Alvin G.Schow. Musical numbers included a vocal duet by Evelyn Woffinden and Willa Wing, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," and a quartet by David Adamson, Reid Bliss, Gary Findlay and Elwood Hunt, "Guide Me to Thee."
