Show Joy Arnoldus to become bride of Eric Nelson in Manti LDS Temple 1 411 ( Y - i 4f Geniel "Joy" Arnoldus, daughter of Geniel H. Smith of American Fork, will marry Harold "Eric" Nelson, son of Harold and Jane Nelson, Pleasant Grove, Friday, Aug. 22, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove 10th Ward Chapel, 475 N. 700 East. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Matron of honor will be Michelle A. Nelson; maid of honor is Jacqueline Smith; bridesmaids are Valerie A. Clark and Jill Smith all are sisters of the bride. Leilani Card will serve as flower girl. Best men will be Carl Johanson, and Kent Fugal, friends of the groom, and John Smith, brother of the bride. Special guests will be the bride's grandmother, Alta Hone, and the groom's grandparents, Caroline Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Fillmore. Prenuptial parties were given by Michelle Nelson, Valerie Clark, Alta Hone, Sharon Hone, Gay Rowley, Alene Hone, Shellie Gray, Becky Zaugg, Lisa Edwards, Kelli Hall, Staff Development of USTS and the Young Women of the American Fork 8th Ward. The bride-lect graduated from American Fork High School and LDS Seminary. She also graduated from Snow College with an associate degree in dance and has attended BYU. She served an LDS mission in Charlotte, N. C, and is currently employed at the Utah State Training School as a clinical instructor. Her fiance graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He served an LDS mission to Arequipa, Peru.
