These were only some of the comments made regarding Mrs. Flygare, who says she loves working at the hospital. "I love the people, and love everything about my job," she says. Born in Orem, she received her education at Pleasant Grove High School, and began working at the American Fork Hospital in June of 1982. Prior to joining the staff at the hospital, she did sewing for S & M Toys, worked at the Egan Deli in Provo, and tutored fourth grade students in reading and spelling. At the hospital she has served on the hospital community relations committee. She and her husband, John W. Flygare, are the parents of five children: John Kay, Bruce, Morris, Dean and David. They also have 21 grandchildren. She says her hobbies include sewing, flower arranging, crocheting, quilting and all crafts. Flora Flygare Flora Flygare, a housekeeper at the American Fork Hospital, has been named "Employee of the Year" at the hospital. Everyone queried about Mrs. Flygare agreed she should receive the honor. "She's the sweetest person, you'll ever find. She always goes out of her way to help and never complains." According to Scott Bringhurst, district manager - Directory Sales of U S West Direct, publisher of Mountain Bell directories, the deadline is important to assure all changes can be made correctly and on time. Production of the directory - including typesetting, printing and binding - takes about three months. Ticket sales will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. daily. All tickets will be sold on a first-com- e, first-serve- d basis. The visitor center will remain open until 5 p.m. We still anticipate large crowds on weekends and recommend an early arrival to avoid long waiting periods. Dress appropriately for the fall weather. The trail to the cave is one and a half miles, an average walk is one hour. Upon arriving at the end of the trail, you will enter a 43 degree F. cave system for m proximately 50 minutes. Including the walk down, allow yourself an f average of three hours to visit r Timpanogos Cave. Mother nature will be tne determining factor for closing the caves and cave trail. We plan on being open until the snow arrives :l usually sometime in October. I Mrs. Esmay believes you must IJ learn to deal with the situations we face (family, school, work, civic duties, etc.) rather than wait until they end or you give up. After going through the "Super Mom Syndrome," Mrs. Esmay decided to organize her life to better deal with the new challenges, rather than "burning out." She will share her ideas with the group.
