Show Dean named to bank officer pool A ' ' , John H. Dean has been named an officer in Commercial Security Bank's Officer Pool, according to Mr. Richard K. Hemingway, Chairman of the Board. "Mr. Dean has over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has excellent credentials and experiencial background in sales, lending and branch management. We are very pleased to have him as a member of our organization, and we expect that he will make significant contributions con-tributions towards the future growth and profitability of the Bank," indicated Mr. Hemingway. During his many years in the financial services industry, Mr. Dean has been very active ' in ..business, professional and"dbm-munity and"dbm-munity activities. He has been a member of the American Institute of Banking (AIB) and participated in many of its educational opportunities. op-portunities. He has also been a member of the Exchange Club in Layton, and is presentlly a member of the Utah Ad Federation. Mr. Dean is a native of Tooele, Utah, where he was graduated from Tooele High School in 1968. He served as editor of the Tooele High School paper. He attended the University of Utah and Weber State College and was graduated from Weber State College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Banking and Finance. He spent the next seven years as a resident of Ogden and Layton as Branch Manager for First Security Bank. Mr. Dean is married to the former for-mer Karen Syddall of Tooele, Utah, and they have four children. They reside in Pleasant Grove. Commercial Security Bank was established in 1875 and is the fourth largest bank in the state of Utah. It operates a network of 26 banking offices located throughout the state. John Dean |
