Strawberry Days draws to sunny close When the last light went out on the ferris wheel Saturday night, Strawberry Days was over for one more year. A week of activities had come and gone and memories were all that remained. The parades on Thursday at-tracted large crowds, as did the rodeos, the Horse pulling contest, the swim meet, the marathon and many other events. Judged the Most Beautiful float in the parade was the American Fork Royalty. The downtown merchants float was named the best com-mercial entry, Intermountain Health Care won for Most Original, the Strawberry Days Royalty float won the Mayors Trophy, and the Miss Springville float won the Theme Trophy. The judges for the event were Jacqueline Huntsman and Sharon Strong, both of Salt Lake City. Joyce Hailing, parade chairman, and her assistant, Laurel Kindred, along with other members of the Chamber of Commerce and Strawberry Days Committee are to be congratulated for a job well done. A run down on other events held during Strawberry Days are found throughout today's newspaper. The weather cooperated to make this one of the best Strawberry Days ever. s , k - v,V-- v- - T ., vv. r Jy tj $ ? :v'; v r y 1 i l . ,V x 3 , '','y,f,y" 5 ' v . tt, j s , , V" --y- ' y .y i - ' ' vy ' v V yy . . ..'-'J- , t I- - ;i'y t mL y '' ''i - ".
