Back, Winston Christiansen, Lloyd Boren and Keith Larson, ; lilt Clark B. Evans sustained as bishop I Clark B. Evans was recently sustained as bishop of the Pleasant Grove 18th Ward replacing Bishop Theron Johnston who was released. Called to serve with Bishop Evans are Gary Best as first counselor and Edward J. Adams as second counselor. Clerks are Winston Christiansen, Lloyd Boren, Keith Larson, Don Millgate and Mark Scoville. Bishop Evans was born in Lehi and grew up in Lehi and Orem. He attended BYU. He moved to Pleasant Grove when he married Susann Swan of Orem. They have four children, Justin, Ryan, Tiffany and Bryce. Clark is owner of the Purple Turtle in Pleasant Grove and the Wooden Spoon in Provo. His hobbies are golf, BYU sports, hunting and fishing. He most recently served as a member of the Pleasant Grove East Stake High Council. Gary was born in Provo but graduated from Orem High School and Orem LDS Seminary. He and his wife, Shirlee, are the parents of seven children, David, Dan, Loree, Tiffanee, Heathyr, Cody and Patrick. Gary is employed at Geneva Steel. He has served most recently as stake clerk. Ed was born and raised in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and has attended BYU. He served an LDS mission in Pennsylvania. He is married to the former Betty Oscarson of Pleasant Grove and they have three sons, Benjamin, Daniel and Michael. He works in partnership with his father and is involved in all aspects of fruit farming. Ed likes to spend time with his sons camping, fishing, vacationing and snow skiing. Lloyd was born in Pleasant Grove, ye the youngest child of Archie and Myrtle Daybell Boren. He married the former Dawna fV( Mae Marrott and they are the I parents of six children, three iofi daughters and three sons. He has worked at Geneva Steel for I many years. ; S Keith was born and raised in 1 Morgan, Utah. He served a mission ,;illa in the Northwestern States. He also spent four years in the Air Force in Japan. Jer. He attended Weber State College and graduated from BYU with a B.S degree and completed his Masters s w Degree at BYU in education. He has taught for 24 years in the Alpine School District and is f) presently teaching math at Orem I v Junior High. He and his wife, Nora, are the parents of nine children, two L ie of whom are married and one who is on a mission.
