Show Police investigate thefts, vandalism Sgt. Mike Blackhurst is investigating. in-vestigating. Susan Hunt, 735 S. Loader, reported the theft of a Kawasaki generator valued at $550 from her garage. Officer Dave Vickers said there are no suspects at this time. Debbie Anderson, 1705 E. 1000 South, told officer Vickers that a 10 speed junior racing bike, blue in color, had been taken. It is valued at $130. Bob Craghead, 929 E. 100 North, reported the theft of a Sears Free Spirit 16 inch boys bike valued at $150. It was taken from the Pleasant Grove swimming pool area. Officer Prestwich said there are no suspects. i Someone broke into the Rocky Mountain Welding, 225 W. 700 South, but it could not be immediately j determined what, if anything, had ! been taken. Officer Vickers is in- i' vestigating. i; Jeppson Mines of Lindon reported the theft of a conveyor belt which is ' 40 to 45 feet long and all the hard-. ware to mount it. The value is $5,000. Other items taken include two rolls of rubber belting valued at $500, ' 16 solid rubber shock obsorbers, one burner unit for a new, large tubular i' dryer valued at $1,600, 200 wooden ( pallets valued at $5 each or a total of I, $1,000, a mailbox and two electric t motors. Officer Cody Cullimore reports there is a suspect. ,,'.) Christensen Auto Sales reported the theft of a 1976 Ford van, according ac-cording to Officer Jeff Wilson of the Pleasant Grove Police Dept. The officer stated that an individual in-dividual had given a check for $1,500 as a down payment on the vehicle. Then he put a stop on the check but kept the car. A Provo man is being sought. Darrel Bullock, 1285 E. Nathaniel, told Officer Tom Prestwich that someone had entered his garage on June 11 at about 11:30 p.m. and had taken an eight pack of Coca Cola and also scratched the full length of his car. Jack Sayre, 1080 N. 100 West, reported that he had returned from a vacation to find that a Sanyo AM-FM Cassette Stereo valued at $250 had been taken from one of his vehicles. The car was locked. |
