First Ward Scouts Honor Parents A large groupt of scouts of the First ward, theirv parents and other oth-er guests enjoyed a very well arranged ar-ranged banquet at the First ward on Saturday evening. The decorations were in keeping keep-ing with the different phases of scouting, where pine trees, etc. made a lovely setting in the banquet ban-quet hall and table decorations. Dr. J. G. Jonas of Provo was the guest speaker. Other special guests were President and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick, district chairman chair-man and Mrs. Ray Pulley, troop committee men C. A. Gamett, Er-roll Er-roll Robbins, Joseph Beveridge, Ed Roberts and their wives. Scout masters Eldon Jolinson and Cliff Hales and their wives. In connection with the banquet badges were presented as follows: ten second class badges; three first class badges; two star badges bad-ges and 14 merit badges.
