Yesterday Ed. Jasperson deposited bail for his appearance to answer the charge of vagrancy, vut he was not In court this morning. Ills bail was declared forfeited. A. N. Austin stated that he was drunk, August 7. The court sentenced sentenc-ed him to serve Ave dnys in the city Jail at hard labor or pay a fine of $5. Mike Riley was nraln In court and he pleaded giillty to vagT&ncy. He was sentenced to serve another ten days in Jail. Louis Browning was arrested ar-rested at the same time Mike was taken tak-en In and was charged with the same offense, but he pleade. not gailty. Ills trial was set for tomorrow morning morn-ing and his ball fixed at $10. - J. A. Chapman failed to appear and I answer the charge of vagrancy and his ball of $10 was forfeited It was alleged that Chapman conducted himself him-self as a vagrant, August 7th. |
