Show WRECK OF A FREIGHT 0NJ.P. A westbound frelcht train on the Southern Pacific was wrecked yesterday yester-day morning, about 10:30 o'clock, two miles east of Cobre. Three refrigerator refriger-ator cars were deratled and traffic was blocked for three hours but no one was injiyed. The wreck Is believed to have been caused by the breaking cf a drawbar. The accident occurred as the freight was passing the small station of Omar. Wreck trains were at once sent to the scene of the wreck from Carlln and Montello and the main line was cleared for train passage In Just three hours. There was no great damage done to either equipment or track. Conductor Lyon was in charge or the train, but neither ho nor any or the crew were on the derailed tars and were not en- I dangered by the wreck. j |
