Show RESOLUTION PASSED BY THEM EPISCOPAL MINISTERS TENDER THEIR HEARTFELT SYMPATHY. Over the Loss of Rev. Alfred Brown, , Former Rector of the Church of , the Good Shepherd. . The convocation of Episcopal ministers min-isters held a business session this morning at the Church of the Good Shepherd, at which a number of important im-portant matters were disposed of. H. G. Tavey. nf this city, was appointed ap-pointed a member of the corporation of Episcopal churches in Utah which has charge of all the Episcopal church property in tho state. ' Rev. v. W. Fleetwood, rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, was appointed ap-pointed a member of the council of advice. In kindly membery of the late Rev. Alfred Brown, formerly rector of the local church, the following resolution was adopted at the session this morning: morn-ing: "For inasmuch as it has pleased Almighty Al-mighty God in His w ise providence to take unto Himself the soul of his servant. ser-vant. Rev. Alfred Brown, some time recor of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Ogden, and, "Whereas, the church and the missionary mis-sionary district of Utah feels its great loss in the absence of his kindly presence pres-ence and wise counsel, therefore be it "Resolved, that this convocation tender its heartfelt sjmpathy and that a copy of this resolution be published pub-lished in the journal of convocation." |
