Show BAD WASHOUTS ON SOUTHERN RAILWAY Spartanburg, S. C June 4. Following Follow-ing heavy rainfall for the last eighteen eigh-teen hours, bad washouts are reported report-ed ou the Southern railway between Spartanburg and Asheville and the passenger trains on that division are i now reported six hours late. The largest washout is between Tryson and Landrum, twenty-four miles west of here. All of the streams in this section sec-tion are much swollen, and there Is fear of a repetition of the floods of last August, whr great damage was done. All trains out of here are given giv-en orders to run slowly. |
