We ,do not know of a stain on his life.although his had been an active career. DEATH OF A GOOD j MAN. I Judge Henry P. Henderson died at midnight Thursday night, In Salt Lake City. He was taken with pneumonia several weeks ago nd failed to rally from tho attack. Judge Henderson was a couGin of H. H. Henderson of Ogden, He was one of the noble men of this state. Hlgh-mlnJed, broad, generous, clean, bright, affable and considerate, he was a perfect type of man. Judge Henderson was born in Onondaga Onon-daga county, New York, in September, 1843. He moved to Mason, Mich., hen he was only 2 or 3 years old. He was educated in the public schools at Mason and was graduated from the law school of the University of Michigan. Mich-igan. Ho was appointed clerk of tho supreme court of Michigan before he was of age. Later he was clerk of Ingham county, Michigan. He was elected a member of the lower house of the Michigan legislature in 1872 and served two years. In 1S8S Judge Henderson was appointed ap-pointed by President Cleveland Judge of the territorial court in Utah. He served both a8 district judge and associate as-sociate justice of the supreme court of the territory. He retired from tho bench In 1890 and entered into a law partnership with Senator Arthur Brown, which continued until 1905.
