A request has been received by President Elmer G. .Peterson of the Utah Acricultural col-ege col-ege from Congressman Miton H. Welling Well-ing at Washington, asking the recommendation recom-mendation of some one who desires appointment to West Toint. Inasmuch asno candidates presented themselves for admission to the West Point school at the last regularly conducted examination the secretary of Avar lias requested Congressman Weling to nominate by certificate in lieu of the mental examination.
