'.hen-Carpentler meets Jack Dempsey, Demp-sey, whom .1 believe is one of the greatest fighters that ever pulled on a glove, the largest crowd that has ever witnessed a boMng match will be on hand. 1 have never ?een the Frenchman in action, and will not do , any predicting at this time. Carpentier Carpen-tier is small, but If he is fast and can hit he will make .up for his loss in weight. However, Dempsey Is extremely ex-tremely clever and one of the hardest punchers J have ever known. The contest should be sensational while it lasts. I am anxious to see Carpentier in action! and will reserve any opinion I might have until that lime. Frdm' what I read 1 believe that Papen is an extremely clever boxer and one who is capable of handling himself in any compan.
