State Carpenters Hold, Annual Meeting In Logan 0 Otflcers ot the Utah State Carpenters' Carpen-ters' association wore elected at tho annunl convention held in Logon on Saturday, as follows: II, W Beckett, Sr., of Ogden, presi dent; secretary and treasurer, D. C. Jacobs of Salt Lake; first vice presi dent, J. W. Walker of Salt Lake; sec ond vice president, C. C. Garf of Logan; Lo-gan; thiid vice president, Parley Ha-fen Ha-fen of Salt Lake; fourtli vice president, presi-dent, T. E. Westerman of Salt Lake; fifth vice president, Cyrus Hansen of Britain City. A resolution was passed at the meeting meet-ing which favored a higher salary for the school teachers of tho state.
