A detachment detach-ment of forty United States marines, the last to see duty In France, arrived here on the French lino steamship j Niagara from Bordeaux. j The last service In Franco performed perform-ed by tho men was the guarding of the 'Lafayette radio station, near Bordeaux I which has been turned over to the French government. Tho detachment was commanded by Sergeant Philip S. McCaffroy of Tong-anoxle, Tong-anoxle, Kansas, and Included among others, Sergeant Orvllle Johnson of Fresno, Cal., a nephew of Senator Hiram Hi-ram W. Johnson. oo
