Olson, of the e.ten-sion e.ten-sion department of the University ot Utah, will lecture under the auspices of the Home Demonstration agent or Weber county on "Preventative Medicine." Med-icine." Doctor Olscn will give the first lecture lec-ture of the course on Tuesday, March 16th-, 7:30 p. m at Rlverdale, and on March 20th. 7:30 p. m.f at Huntsvillc in the ward meeting house. Following is an outline of the lectures lec-tures to bo given: One lecture a week: 1. A review of our present health conditions, summarizing the various causes, of poor health. Hereditary factors, birth control and race suicide, in their bearing on our present high Infant mortality. 2. The prenatal period of the child's existence. Detailed Instructions regarding re-garding the diet, dress and habits of the life of the mother during this period. per-iod. 3. The course of disease in the human hu-man body. Nature's methods of overcoming over-coming these processes. The bearing of drugs and surzery on tho treatment of disease. Physic theraphy, including a discussion of faith cures. I. Treatment of disease, common sense methods of procedure in the conduct con-duct of all diseased conditions.
