July 9 Reopening Re-opening of the yards of the Los Angeles An-geles Shipbuilding and Dry Dock company com-pany which have been closed since May 26, was postponed today till tomorrow to-morrow morning. The company first announced Its intention to re-open last MnnHov. frnt tha jucXn&X throwtnc back of the gales had been delayed from ' time to time, pending necessary pro-hibitions pro-hibitions in the yards. The yards were closed following a II strike of a number of their employes, which resulted from the laying off of a number of men as a first step to-ward to-ward peace readjustment. The only disputed question was one of union recognition. The company, in an-nouncing an-nouncing its Intention to re -open, said it would do so on an open shop basis. , oo
