Show Soviet Government Favored by Union Men of Butte BUTTE, Mont. July 8 The "one I big union" convention, holding its fin-1 J al session hero today, chose Great I Falls, Mont., as the place for the next ' convention, which will be held before I October 1. At lhat time it is planned to effect a permanent organization and delegates from all parts of the country are expected to be in attend ance, it -was announced. A resolution demanding that the United Slates government immediately immediate-ly withdraw troops from Russia and recognize the soviet government of Russia was carried by acclamation amid enthusiasm. C. W. Husfin. an official of the United Mine Workers of America addressed ad-dressed the convention and predicted complete failure lor the "one big union" movement, stating that the id j. was not new and that ils failure was already a master of history in the' archives of oi"jjamz-d labor. He was interrupted several times by open expressions ex-pressions ol disapproval and Tidicule. The constitution of the Canadian one big union convention with itfl preamble, pre-amble, was adopted almost word for word, the principal change being in ithe amount of pay provided for nteni j bers of the executive committee.
