Show EI IISIST THAT BOOTH 0R11CE REPASSED Members of tho City Federation of Women's clubs arc urging the city commissioners to pass tho anti-booth ordlnanco as submitted yesterday, and which eliminates all but open booths on the ground floor. A delegation from tho women's organization or-ganization has called upon Mayor T. Samuel Browning, insisting that the ordinance in its present form will meet a general reform demand. They asserted as-serted that the closed booth, although lighted and uncurtained, is a big aid to juvenile delinquency. "The ladies were emphatic in their conclusions," said Mayor Browning and declared that tho matter was of the gravest importance. They insisted that open booths, throe feet high, afford af-ford amplo privacy for any persons who have nothing particularly to conceal con-ceal in conversation or conduct. They also slated that the booth that permitted per-mitted of a privacy such as now prevails pre-vails and Avhich requires lights or personal per-sonal inspection to ascertain if evil is being done contribute to moral delin-, delin-, quency. "Individually, I think thoy are correct, cor-rect, and I personally, I favor the ordinance or-dinance as it now stands.
