Show ISJJICKI1 IS LAID TO REST i i j Wsfak 'i Mm lllft ' '3 ' The funeral services for Minerva i Hickman who died at her home in; North Ogden last Monday evening at tho advanced age of ninety years wore) held Thursday afternoon at one o'- j clock from the door of her litle home! where she had resided for a half a century, over half of that timo being spent in tho loneliness of widowhood. Tho services were conducted by Bishop's Counsellor George E. Brown. A solo "Oh My Father" was rendered by William M. Ellis and Bishop Fred-srick Fred-srick Barker offered the invocation. , Opening remarks were mado by Patriarch Pa-triarch James Ward, recounting the many arduous toils of life that had confronted her from her early child -liood and the nobility of character with which she had met them. Mrs. Charlotte Gibson related a pleasant conversation she had had with her in which she narrated the many experiences exper-iences she. had bad in tho church fori more than three fourths of. a century ind had never faltered in her testimony testi-mony of its divinity and asked her to bear the same testimony for her at her funeral. Fred W. Ellis, a lifelong life-long friend testified of her sterling worth and integrity as a mother and the close friend she had been to him when ho was standing alone. Bishop's Counsellor ; George E. Brown in behalf of tho fam- . ily and kindred thanked all who had : so kindly assisted the deceased in any way during her long illness and death. ' Thomas Morris and company sang ( "Farewell all earthly honors," and the ; benediction was pronounced by Wil- , Ham M. Wade of the bishopric of the ' Pleasant View ward. Interment North .
