Show IR STOPS WREN QGDEN BOY LIDS J. Raymond Young. Mrs Joseph Young has received a lptter from her son, Joseph Raymond, who is now stationed in France. The letter was received on Christmas morning, as follows: "Dear Mother: I received your welcome wel-come letter yesterday and was most pleased to h"5ar from you, as it is the second letter from home since I came to France. "I have been traveling since I left Camp Fremont. We were on the water twelve days and I enjoyed the trip. I spent most of my timo on deck looking for Old Bill's tin fish. He must haVe known that we were coming for wc did not seo any. ' mmamw mm , Ben E. Young. "We had ben in France only two daj's when Old Bill thought that it was best for him to quit. We landed at Brest and since then have boon tuavel-ing tuavel-ing about the country a great deal, but wc are now back in Brest waiting our time to return home. "We have a good place to stay here and are fed fine. I have not had a sick day since 1 left home. Mrs. Young also received a letter from her son Bon who is in New Zealand Zea-land on a mission. Mr. Young states that the influenza Is raging there and that it is almost beyond check. oo |
