In this screen production of Peter B, Kyne's story in the Saturday Eve- : ning Post, Peggy Adams has an excel-lent excel-lent vehicle for her natural and versa- tile art. As the daughter of a miner in the early days of the west and later as (i a nurso in a modern hospital, she plays ' her parts with sympathy and fresh ' girlish charm. J his naturalness of his acting. He is ' just a nice, well-bred young American, i and ono likes and believes in him from ' tho beginning. Peery, manager of the I Ogden theater, trained In tho demands of the public and one of tho most ex- pert amusement directors in the west, IH will give his patrons the great drama "Today" during the next four days. "Today" is easily ono of the great- est screen shows ever produced and Is tho dramatization of George Broad- hurst's novol of that name. It is a mas- ter production in every detail and every resident of Ogden will under- take to see it Tho synopsis of "To-! "To-! day" is as follows: Fred Morton, a real estato man, finds himself a bankrupt. At a moet-' moet-' lng of his creditors he promised to sell his line residence arid all available property and give notes for the rest. j , The plan is accepted and Morton goes home to break the news to his wife, molher and father, the two latter re- siding with him. Tho old folks com- IH fort him, but hia wife flies into a jH rage when ho takes her Jewels tip soli for his creditors' beneflL The family DH move into a humble home and Fred begins his fight back to prosperity 'H again. Lily, his wife, continually rails pH against the hardships to which sho is j reduced and longs for the gay life to which she was accustomed. Marlon Garland, her friend, urges her to ob- tain money by following the primrose iH path. Lily. resolves to shake off tho iH shackles of convention, and going out, iH sho indulges in a flirtation with a chance acquaintance, Richard Hew- lott.
