Show oo "VETERANS" DAY IS OBSERVED AT PROVO PROVO, Feb. 12. "Veterans' day," which has become an annual institution institu-tion of the city schools, was observed yesterday at tho Central school, when more than 100 sottlers of Provo handcart hand-cart ploneorB, G. A. R, veterans and Indian war veterans wero entertained by tho teachers and pupils and tho Daughters of the Pioneers. Among "the prominent guests wore Commander N. C. Corser, Adjutant Gonoral C. W. A. Schnoll, Seymour B. Young and J. M. Westwood of tho G, A. R.; Jonathan S. Pago, Judge J. E. Booth and George Harrison of tho Indian war veterans, and Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Hayward and Mrs. Flora B. Horno, president and vice president, respectively, of tho Daughters of tho Pioneers. |
